 BioWest to open new microbial facility

BioWest Ag Solutions will open a new microbial propagation and fermentation facility in Caldwell, Idaho in October 2018. The new facility will house the production of large-scale, custom microbial products, as well as offer contract fermentation services.

The company said that with market projections in agricultural biological products continuing to climb, the new facility will allow BioWest to answer the increased demand for its microbial products and solutions.

“The new building will be unique in the agricultural marketplace by being one of the only microbial fermentation process facilities able to provide high-efficient and superior quality products at a cost-effective price point,” said Brian Wieburg, CEO of BioWest Ag Solutions.

Additional space will include purpose-built laboratories and offices to house the company’s new headquarters.
