Bayer CropScience opens R&D site in California

Bayer CropScience recently opened a new research and development center in West Sacramento, California.

The West Sacramento site will serve as the global headquarters of Bayer CropScience’s biologics business. The facility is situated on 10 acres of land and features a 100,00 square foot building and a 35,000 square foot pilot plant to support research and development of biological crop protection products. The site also has a 30,000 square foot vegetable seeds research building and a 2,000 square foot greenhouse and five acres for additional greenhouse additions.
