Arysta signs licensing agreement with INTERMAG

Arysta LifeScience and INTERMAG have signed a licensing agreement granting Arysta access to all formulations of INTERMAG’s proprietary titanium-based biostimulant technology. The agreement is exclusive for territories outside of Europe where Arysta LifeScience has market access and non-exclusive for certain countries within Europe, excluding Poland and Slovakia. INTERMAG currently markets the product in nine European countries under the trade name Tytanit.

Tytanit is a biostimulant based on titanium technology that stimulates photosynthesis, improving crop yield and quality. Arysta LifeScience will focus on developing Tytanit for use in row crops including maize, potatoes, cereals, oilseed rape, sugar cane and rice. The first Arysta sales of Tytanit are expected in 2014.

INTERMAG, founded in 1988, is a plant nutrient company based in Olkusz, Poland. Arysta LifeScience, founded in 2001, is based in Tokyo.
