Agrium, through its subsidiary, Loveland Products, has purchased a controlling interest in the biotechnology company Agricen.
Agricen, based in Frisco, Texas, produces biochemical-based products for plant nutrition. Agricen currently manufactures two Loveland products, Accomplish LM and Titan PM, biologically derived products designed to enhance fertilizer efficiency.
Loveland has also acquired an interest in Agricen Sciences, an applied sciences research company developing microbial and biochemical solutions for plant health and nutrition.
