A Cut Above product line featured at IFPA conference

Fresh Solutions Network featured Side Delights’ A Cut Above line of fresh potato products at the International Fresh Produce Association Foodservice Conference in Monterey, California.

The line includes fresh whole potatoes, fresh whole peeled potatoes, fresh-cut french fries, fresh-cut wedges, sliced fresh-cut potatoes and diced fresh-cut potatoes. Most products are available skin-on or skin-off.

The conference took place July 25-26. Basin Gold Cooperative from Washington and Masser Family of Companies of Pennsylvania attended the conference on behalf of Fresh Solutions Network (FSN), exclusive supplier of Side Delights potatoes and onions.

“For a decade, we’ve been bringing the food service sector premium-quality potatoes in response to a profitable and growing segment for on-premise accounts,” Kathleen Triou, FSN president and CEO, said in a news release.

“Since the pandemic, fresh potatoes are found on more menus than frozen potatoes and on menus, showing fresh innovation. Appetizers, sides and spices are also growing categories, pointing to a large opportunity — especially for potatoes.”

Side Delights offers a variety of products including bagged and bulk potatoes, potato kits, convenience potatoes, petite potatoes, fresh-cut potatoes and organic potatoes.
