Nov 28, 2023Equipment supplier Reyco Systems opens Washington facility
Global processed potato industry equipment supplier Reyco Systems has opened a new manufacturing and repair facility in Eltopia, Washington.
The company says the 15,000-square-foot facility, equipped for fabrication, general shop tooling, welding, parts inventory and pump repairs, will reduce repair turnaround times. The 6-acre site also includes office meeting space and space for planned future expansion, according to a news release.
“Our Reyco workforce, boasting exceptional talent with decades of industry experience and deep product knowledge, is a testament to the expertise found in the Tri-Cities/Columbia Basin region,” Clay Cooper, Reyco Systems president, said in the release. “Our goal with this expansion is to strategically position this Reyco talent closer to our customers in Eltopia, leveraging the great experience and skills inherent in the Columbia Basin. This move enables us to offer not only additional face-to-face engagement but also significantly shorter repair times, enhancing the overall service experience for our valued customers.”
Founded in 1975 in Caldwell, Idaho, Reyco Systems supplies equipment, including fryer air washers and its patented Oil Miser recovery system, to the processed potato industry. Its solutions include oil and moisture removal, food and waste conveying, and UVC decontamination systems.
The company serves as the exclusive Cornell Pump distributor for the Northwest region and has Cornell-trained sales, service, and pump rebuild technicians at its Caldwell and Eltopia facilities, according to the release.
“Having a footprint in Eltopia is already providing positive results,” Sean Dixon, director and site manager for Reyco Eltopia, said. “Soon after erecting the Reyco sign above the building, we had customers coming through the front doors requesting our services. That has a lot to do with the Reyco brand and the reputation we have in the industry.”
