Students and early career professionals attending this year’s Potato Association of America Annual Meeting will have access to an exciting new opportunity designed to enrich their academic and professional development.
For the first time, the annual meeting will feature a dedicated mentoring event that connects students with experienced professionals from across the potato industry, as well as leaders in education and government. Participants will gain valuable face-to-face time with mentors who can offer guidance, share insights and offer advice to students as they further their education and pursue careers in the potato sector.
Students may register for the mentoring event during the 2026 PAA Annual Meeting registration process. Industry professionals interested in serving as mentors can also sign up at that time. The programming schedule for the 2026 PAA Annual Meeting is still being finalized, and the specific day and time for the student mentoring event have not yet been determined.

Once the schedule is solidified, full details will be posted on the PAA Annual Meeting website at www.potatoassociation.org/Events/PAA2026.
