Description: The Bellanita is an early fingerling which produces a very high number of tubers of consistent shape. It has yellow skin and flesh and an excellent taste.

Agronomic Characteristics

Maturity: Early

Yield: 20 to 25 tubers

Shape: Uniform

Eye Depth: Shallow

Dry Matter: 18%

Diseases: Good resistance to common scab, potato virus Y (very good to NTN strain), Fusarium dry rot and powdery scab. Moderate resistance to blight.

Harvest: Three to four weeks after haulm killing usually provides sufficient skin set. Bellanita is only slightly susceptible to harvest damage.

Storage: Medium dormancy. Store until December or January for best results.
