Syngenta adds agricultural policy veteran as director of federal affairs

Global agricultural company Syngenta has added an agricultural policy veteran as its new director of federal affairs.

Beth Ellikidis, based in the Washington, D.C. office, brings more than two decades of public and private sector agricultural policy experience, according to a news release. She most recently served as vice president of agriculture and environment at Biotechnology Innovation Organization.

Prior to that role, she served as head of U.S. public affairs at the global animal health company Zoetis and has held senior roles at the National Corn Growers Association and the National Grain and Feed Association.

“We are excited to have Beth join the Government Affairs team at Syngenta,” Val Dolcini, head of Syngenta public affairs for North America, said in the release. “She brings new energy, experiences and perspectives while collaborating across party lines to support American agriculture policy.”

Ellikidis holds a bachelor’s degree in government and international politics and a master’s degree in political management from George Washington University.
