Cultivar Corner: Autumn Rose is an early-maturing red with high yields

Overview

Autumn Rose is an early maturing, red-skinned, white-fleshed potato. This attractive high-yielding variety has smooth skin with shallow eyes. Autumn Rose shows good resistance to common scab and has a long storability. This Norland-type variety is highly suitable for both organic and conventional production. Its slightly mealy cooking texture and taste both are excellent. It is a great potato for mashing, frying and roasting.
