Blair Richardson is the new president and CEO of the United States Potato Board as of August 1.
During the previous four years, Richardson served as CEO for the combined companies of WesPak Sales and Enns Packing.
Richardson was born in Texas. He received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Texas A&M in 1989.
Richardson worked for 10 years at Calcot, a cotton marketing cooperative, in a number of positions including director of market and economic research and director of international sales.
From 2002 to 2007 he was president of the California Tree Fruit Agreement. Richardson and his wife, Marti, have one daughter, Bryce.
