The ninth annual World Potato Congress (WPC) recognized five individuals for their contribution to the development and progress of the global potato industry during the 2015 WPC at Yanqing, Beijing, China,.
Albert T. Wada, chairman of Wada Farms, of Pingree, Idaho, and Neil C. Gudmestad, plant pathologist at North Dakota State University, both received individual awards during the WPC’s closing ceremonies.
Kevin Clayton-Green, of Tasmania, Australia, Kees van Arendonk, of the Netherlands and Yili Chen, of China, also were recognized by the WPC.
