Sequencing of the Potato Genome Will Mean Better Spuds

The international Potato Genome Sequencing Consortium (PGSC) held its annual meeting at Teagasc Crops Research Centre, Oak Park, from June 10th to 12th. The PGSC is a group of nearly 20 research groups worldwide who have come together to sequence the entire potato genome by 2011. Irish Times
