Potato Production Numbers for 2007 Released

USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service released its crop production data for 2007, which includes acreage, area harvested, yield and varieties planted.

Potato production in the United States increased slightly over 2006. Acres planted and harvested both saw small increases, as did total yield, which increased from 393 to 396 cwt.
