Pathway grows with greenhouse expansion

Pathway Biologic, microbial technologies company, has announced an expansion into an 8,600 sq. ft. secured greenhouse at his headquarters in Plant City, Florida.

The unique greenhouse will further our progress in research and development,” says Director of Operations Michael Gans. “We will be able to initiate and capture plant performance data, then directly tie that to advancing our microbial solutions.”

The Pathway team is dedicated to developing next generation solutions to increase crop productivity across a broad range of crops, the company said. Soil needs and demands vary greatly around the U.S., and the world, so microbial technologies provide the perfect platform to enhance crop performance.

The Pathway research approach characterizes traits in vitro (lab assays – enzymatic activity, such as nitrogenase, biofilm, siderophore, indole acetic acid, lipase, amylase, protease, chitinase) and growth promotion; confirms/validates traits in greenhouse to provide scientific solutions available in the market; and replicates data through field research to insure quality control and consistency, the company said.
