Lamb Weston selects new chief supply chain officer

Lamb Weston Holdings has named Gerardo Scheufler as its new senior vice president and chief supply chain officer, beginning Aug. 12, 2019. He replaces Rick Martin, who is retiring.

Scheufler brings more than 25 years of supply chain experience to the role. Most recently he was the vice president of global operations at Mondelez International,, where he oversaw a major global restructuring program to optimize the global supply chain footprint, including the manufacturing, customer service, quality, logistics, health, safety and environment, and innovation functions. Prior to his role at Mondelez, he spent more than 20 years at Procter & Gamble in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility.

“Gerardo will be a great addition to Lamb Weston and our executive team,” said Tom Werner, CEO Lamb Weston. “The depth and breadth of his experience leading global supply chain organizations will be an asset to the company as we make progress against our strategic plan. Rick has been a tremendous asset to this company over the last 25 years, and I’m especially grateful for his leadership through the last three years as we transitioned into a stand-alone public company. We wish him well in his retirement.”
