Krabill joins USPB

Ryan Krabill has joined the U.S. Potato Board (USPB) as the director of research and analysis. Krabill will begin his job on April 1, 2015. He will be responsible for coordinating and developing alliances with U.S. potato researchers and to help secure additional funding for potato research initiatives.

Krabill leaves his position as the National Potato Council’s (NPC) senior director, legislative & regulatory affairs, for the newly-created position at the USPB. He had worked at the NPC since June 2010. During that time he managed policy and logistics for NPC trade affairs, legislative and government affairs and environmental affairs committees. He also served as chairman of the commodity programs working group in the Specialty Crop Farm Bill Alliance during preparation for the 2014 Farm Bill.
