Klompien appointed IGSA president

Mark Klompien is the new Idaho Grower Shippers Association (IGSA) president.

Klompien previously was vice president of supply chain management at Idahoan Foods. Subsequently, Klompien was at Basic American Foods for 18 years. During that time, he held a number of positions in engineering, operations, raw material, supply chain and, most recently, as vice president of procurement and government relations.

Klompien succeeds Travis Black as the IGSA president. Blacker has accepted the position of industry relations director for the Idaho Potato Commission.
