Hickman to continue leading Potatoes USA Finance committee

Phil Hickman

Phil Hickman of Horntown, Virginia was re-elected to the Potatoes USA Executive committee on March 16, 2017 at the organization’s 45th annual meeting in Denver, CO. He will be serving his third year on the board and his third year on the Executive committee continuing in the role of Finance committee chairman.

Hickman previously served six years on the board from 2003-2009 and served on the Domestic Marketing committee from 2006-2009. Hickman owns and serves as president of Dublin Farms, Inc. where he grows Envol, Red Norland, Yukon Gold, Superior, and Dark Red Norland potato varieties for the table-stock market. Hickman has been farming potatoes at Dublin Farms for the past 43 years with his brother, David, and now his son, Phillip, and nephews, Matthew and Mark. The Finance committee is responsible for oversight of the financial information of Potatoes USA. The Finance committee makes recommendations to the Executive committee on finance and policy related matters, including the annual budget. The committee also oversees the audit process.
