Certis USA adds two ag veterans to sales team

Certis USA has added Sherm Hollis and Tim Riley to its commercial sales team.

Hollins and Riley bring decades of experience of dedication to the needs of agriculture customers in their new roles as key account managers.

“Sherm and Tim have cultivated successful, long-term relationships in their careers with many of our distribution partners and they will be tremendous assets in fostering relationships with our customers,” said Mike Allan, Certis VP, North America. “We are proud to have this additional wealth of knowledge available to aid growers and partners in maximizing our portfolio of products for the benefit of their farms and businesses.”

Over the previous two decades, Hollins served in strategic roles for NewLeaf Symbiotics, Arysta LifeScience, Becker Underwood/BASF and Ag Data.

“The adaptation of biologicals for broad use in commercial agriculture is still growing, and I am looking forward to working with the experienced Certis sales team to capture that growth through enhanced relationships with our key accounts, growers and channel partners,” Hollins said.

For nearly 30 years, Riley has been managing sales growth for customers in the areas of chemical, seed, equipment, animal health and financial/risk management. Most recently, he served as a key accounts manager for Amvac Chemical, CDMS (Crop Data Management Systems) and Caterpillar.

“In my career, I have seen the impact that dedicated account managers can have with building strong customer relationships and collaboration,” Riley said. “I am excited to combine my efforts with the Certis regional sales managers to maximize strategic growth and opportunities with Certis customers in the U.S.”

Hollins will be based in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Riley will be based in Harrisonville, Missouri.
