Applications now open for 2026 MPIC scholarship

The application period for the Michigan Potato Industry Commission (MPIC)’s 2026 scholarship is now open. Applications must be received by Jan. 7, 2026.

Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at a post-secondary educational institution during the spring 2026 semester to be eligible, according to MPIC.

Other requirements include:

• A minimum of 12 credits per semester with a major related to agriculture at a Michigan accredited institution
• A grade point average (3.0) or better (transcript required)
• A personal essay detailing educational and career goals
• Two letters of recommendation
