I have been using in-furrow treatments on potatoes for the last 10 years but want to try something new. What would you recommend?

Seed treatment technologies have advanced greatly in the past decade
and offer a convenient and effective option for pest protection. Liquid
seed treatments, for instance, adhere better to cut and uncut surfaces,
providing more thorough protection of the entire seed piece than
traditional dust formulations.

Treating seed pieces with a seed treatment insecticide/fungicide such
as CruiserMaxx™ Potatoes can protect seeds, stems and stolons from
early-season insects and disease. CruiserMaxx Potatoes is the first
product for potatoes that combines a liquid seed treatment insecticide
and fungicide together with an exclusive drying agent. Thiamethoxam,
the insecticide component, protects the entire plant from damaging
early-season insects such as aphids and wireworm. The fungicide
component, fludioxonil, provides protection against major seed and
soil-borne diseases including Rhizoctonia, Fusarium and silver scurf.

All of these components incorporated into a liquid seed piece
treatment formulation reduces handling and significantly speeds
suberization and wound healing which can lead to a healthier crop
at harvest.
