Valmont Industries, of Omaha, Nebraska, has purchased a majority interest in AgSense.
Valmont produces products and services for infrastructure and mechanized irrigation equipment for agriculture. AgSense, based in Huron, South Dakota, uses cloud based information technology that provides a feed of real-time information allowing growers to manage their agricultural operation from virtually anywhere.
