USAID awards MSU $5.8 million

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has awarded Michigan State University (MSU) a $5.8 million cooperative agreement to improve potato production in Bangladesh and Indonesia.

The cooperative agreement supports USAID’s Feed the Future, a global hunger and food security initiative supported by the U.S. government.

MSU will partner with the University of Minnesota and J.R. Simplot and Bangladesh and Indonesia partners to make improved potato varieties.
