United Potato Growers of America has selected Lee Frankel to lead the organization.
Frankel holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s in International Trade and Agricultural Policy from Stanford University. He has served the past 11 years as president of the Fresh Produce Association of the Americas, Nogales, Ariz. Frankel worked previously for five years as an international trade analyst with the U.S. International Trade Commission.
Frankel will start his new position with United Jan. 2.
