Report finds GE crops safe

Genetically engineered (GE) crops appear to be safe, according to a report issued by a study committee of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine.

The report states that the study committee found no substantiated evidence of a difference in risks to human health between current commercially available genetically engineered crops and conventionally bred crops.”
