Priaxor receives full EPA registration

BASF announces that Priaxor fungicide with Xemium has received full EPA registration, providing a new mode of action in row crops. Prixor is a 2:1 premix fungicide containing F500, the same active ingredient in Headline fungicide, and Xemium fungicide, a new active ingredient in the carboxamide family.

Priaxor belongs to FRAC group 7 and 11. It has a re-entry interval (REI) of 12 hours and a pre-harvest interval (PHI) of seven days.

Resistance management guidelines recommend an application of no more than 24 fluid ounces per acre per season.

BASF recommends no more than two consecutive applications of Priaxor before alternating to a labeled fungicide with a different mode of action and a maximum of three applications per season.

Priaxor can be used as an infurrow treatment to control Rhizoctonia.
