Nov 14, 2008Potato Board Names VP of Domestic Marketing
The United States Potato Board (USPB) has named Kathleen Triou (pronounced True) its new vice president, domestic marketing.
Triou was most recently senior director at Seismicom, a full-service integrated marketing and promotion agency where she was responsible for building the client roster and managing campaigns for national telecommunications and food companies. Triou’s food industry experience also includes client management with the Perishables Group, an independent consulting firm focused on innovation and creating value for clients in the fresh food industry; head of business development/senior client manager for BPRI Group in London, a business-to-business research consultancy; marketing manager for the Almond Board of California; and associate brand manager for E&J Gallo Winery, where she was responsible for Turning Leaf table wine, Bartles and Jaymes and Boone’s Farm brands.
Triou also served as an Executive Officer in the U.S. Air Force for over four years. Triou holds an MBA from Midwestern State University and a bachelors in business from Miami University of Ohio. Triou begins her new position as USPB vice president, domestic marketing, Dec. 1.
