Dow AgroSciences announced that Blackhawk insecticide is now available. Blackhawk provides broad-spectrum control of Colorado potato beetles. Blackhawk’s active ingredient is spinosad, a Group 5 insecticide. Blackhawk is registered under the EPA’s Reduced Risk Pesticide Initiative. Blackhawk can be applied as a foliar spray or by chemigation, it has a four-hour re-entry interval and a seven-day pre-harvest interval.
