Miller Research Station to host pest management field day

Miller Research will host its annual pest management field day Aug. 16 at its facility located near Acequia, Idaho.

The day will be highlighted by a tour of the research plots. Trials to be highlighted include research on pink rot, rhizoctonia canker and fusarium dry rot, fumigation methods for verticillium control and foliar disease management.

The presentations will focus on fungicide management of diseases and will highlight research that has been funded by the Pacific Northwest Potato Research Consortium. Idaho State Department of Agriculture pesticide recertification credits and certified crop advisor (pest management) credits have been requested.

The tour will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Lunch will then be provided free of charge.
