Aug 14, 2015Managing late blight going into storage seminars scheduled in Idaho
The University of Idaho and Miller Research are sponsoring two meetings on managing late blight in late season and going into storage on Tuesday, August 18.
The first meeting will be at the American Falls High School auditorium from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The second meeting will be in Idaho Falls at the University of Idaho Tingey Administration building auditorium from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Jeff Miller will discuss proper disease identification, pathogen life cycle and biology, disease management considerations in the field and appropriate use of late season fungicides through vine kill.
Nora Olsen will discuss post-harvest fungicide use and selection and proper storage management considerations.
