Late blight in Idaho

Jeff Miller, of Miller Research in Rupert, Idaho, reports that late blight has been positively identified in Minidoka. According to Miller the infection appears to be the result of a spore shower and it is likely that other fields are affected and it is critical for growers to scout their fields.

Late blight strain US 23 had been identified previously in southern Bingham County.
