Idaho Potato Commission appoints new Chairman
R.J. Andrus has been appointed chairman of the Idaho Potato Commission and Jim Tiede was appointed vice chairman at the annual Idaho Grower Shippers Association’s industry breakfast in Sun Valley, Idaho earlier this month. Both men will serve one-year terms in office.
In a press release announcing the appointments, Frank Muir, president and CEO of the IPC said, Chairman Andrus is a well-respected industry leader and his expertise and experience will be utilized as the IPC continues to strengthen existing marketing initiatives and mine new opportunities to promote the ‘Grown in Idaho® ‘ seal.”
Andrus is a senior field manager at Idahoan Foods in Lewisville, ID. He has been with the company for over 19 years. Tiede is the owner of Tiede Farms in American Falls, ID.
