Grower leaders elected at Potatoes USA

The Potatoes USA grower membership elected new leadership during its Annual Meeting held in Denver, CO, March 13-16. The Potatoes USA executive committee is comprised by the chair, immediate past chair, and the co-chairs of each committee. They will serve a one-year term through Potatoes USA annual meeting to be held in March 2018.

The the new executive committee members are: Chairman, John Halverson, Arbyrd, Missouri.

Immediate Past Chair, Mike Pink, Mesa, Washington.

Domestic Marketing Co-chairs, Jerry Tominaga, Rupert, Idaho, and David Tonso, Center, Colorado.

International Marketing Co-chairs, Marty Myers, Boardman, Oregon, and Doug Poe, Connell, Washington.

Research Co-chairs Steve Gangwish, Kearney, Nebraska, and Dan Moss, Declo, Idaho.

Industry Outreach Co-chairs, Jason Davenport, Arvin, California, and Jay LaJoie, Van Buren, Maine.

Finance Chair, Phil Hickman, Horntown, Virginia.

The executive committee will guide the Potatoes USA staff over the next twelve months as they implement the board’s marketing, promotion, research and industry outreach programs.
