Ellie Charvet received the 2016 Industry Leadership Award from the Washington State Potato Foundation during the Washington/Oregon Potato Conference in Kennewick, Washington.
Charvet works for Harvest Fresh of Othello, Washington. He has been a member of the Washington State Potato Commission, serving on the Research and Finance Committee, since 1999. He also served on the National Potato Council’s finance committee.
He and his wife, Carol, have been married for 47 years and are the parents of two daughters and grandparents of four grandchildren.
