2015 N. American potato production increases

USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) reports that North American potato growers, United States and Canada, increased production in 2015 by 1.4 percent compared to 2014 production numbers.

Production in 2015 totaled 550.4 million cwt., compared to 542.8 million cwt. in 2014.

U.S. production increased 0.8 percent, and Canadian production increased 4.2 percent in 2015.
