Loretta Mikitzel is the 2015-2016 Potato Association of America (PAA) president. Mikitzel is a potato physiologist for the New Brunswick Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture & Fisheries.
Mike Thornton is the president-elect. Thornton is a professor of plant sciences at the University of Idaho’s Parma Research and Extension Center and chairman of plant sciences, south division.
Shelley Jansky is the vice president. She is an associate professor and research geneticist in the horticulture department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Carrie Wohleb is the secretary. Wohleb is the regional crops specialist, associate professor at Washington State University.
Larry Hiller is the treasurer and Andy Jensen is the past president. Jensen is the manager for the Northwest Potato Research Consortium.
