USPB restructures domestic and international marketing departments
(USPB) members approved the restructuring of the domestic and international marketing departments into one body, the USPB Marketing Department.
The USPB administrative committee approved the consolidation during a meeting in San Antonio, Texas on Jan. 10. The change will take effect July 1, with the start of the new marketing year.
John Toaspern will oversee the new USPB Marketing Department as the chief marketing officer. Toaspern has been the USPB vice president for international marketing since January 1999.
The domestic marketing vice president position will be replaced with two director positions to help develop programs and assure all requirements related to the USDA international market development funding programs are met.
