Process Expo will be Nov. 3-5 in Chicago

The annual Process Expo is gearing up for its 2013 run, Nov. 3-6 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Process Expo is billed as the nation’s largest event dedicated strictly to the food and beverage industry. More than 450 exhibitors will be present at a trade show that is expected to attract more than 10,000 attendees. The show will feature processing and packaging equipment, technological innovations and solutions applicable to all segments of the supply chain.

A variety of educational sessions with relevance to the produce industry will be held covering processing, packaging and prepared foods. Food safety will be a common thread throughout the presentations, including discussions of traceability, designing processes for safety, risk assessment, allergen control, sterilization and the Food Safety Modernization Act.
